Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapeutic counseling services to clients based on their unique mental health needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to assess client progress, discuss modifications in treatment plans, and share insights on best practices.

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all client services in accordance with relevant regulatory and organizational guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals and families served by Better Way Behavioral Health represent a diverse spectrum of backgrounds and mental health needs. Clients may be experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or life transitions. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a critical role in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are sensitive to the complex realities of our clients’ lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current independent licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) is mandatory.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, providing direct therapeutic services to clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
