Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to each client's specific needs, with a focus on stress reduction and enhanced well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to better understand clients' stressors, mental health challenges, and goals, developing personalized mindfulness practices that align with their individual therapy plans.

• Lead individual and group sessions that incorporate mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques, fostering self-awareness and emotional balance among participants.
\n
• Facilitate educational workshops and group classes emphasizing stress management, resilience-building, and practical mindfulness skills for daily living.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to create a cohesive and comprehensive treatment strategy that incorporates wellness and mindfulness approaches.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and the mindfulness interventions applied to ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development, enriching your expertise and enhancing the therapeutic services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges who seek tools and strategies to enhance their emotional well-being. Our clients may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, or those simply looking for an additional layer of support in their wellness journey. Your role is essential in guiding them through their challenges while instilling hope and fostering a sense of community.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices within therapeutic frameworks to support mental health counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
