Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of your clients, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand client histories, strengths, and challenges, which will inform the development of personalized treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or an equivalent credential.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience working with diverse populations in clinical settings.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport and facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Beacon Light Behavioral Health System offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
