Founding Sales Development Representative (Cybersecurity)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid or Remote Considered)
Stage: Series B
Reports to: Head of Sales / CEO
Compensation: $75,000–$95,000 Base | $110,000–$140,000 OTE + Equity
What You'll Do
- Drive top-of-funnel pipeline through outbound prospecting.
- Identify and engage security and infrastructure decision-makers.
- Run multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, social).
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book meetings for AEs/founders.
- Partner with leadership to refine ICP, messaging, and positioning.
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy.
- Experiment with new outbound motions and messaging strategies.
- Provide structured feedback from the field to sales and product teams.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of SDR/BDR experience in B2B SaaS (cybersecurity a plus).
- Strong communication and written messaging skills.
- High level of drive, curiosity, and coachability.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments.
- Desire to grow into an Account Executive role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, HubSpot, Gong.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to cybersecurity, IT, DevOps, or infrastructure sales motions.
- Experience at Seed to Series B startups.
- Proven ability to consistently exceed activity or meeting targets.
Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000–$95,000 base
- $110,000–$140,000 OTE
