Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in collaborative practices with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, especially those involving children and adolescents, using evidence-based techniques.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing the electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in pediatric mental health to continually improve service delivery.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual needs and create tailored treatment plans that incorporate developmental and familial considerations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a related field is required.

• Applicants must hold an active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California. Note that we do not accept candidates with associate licenses as they are not billable through Medicare.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools pertinent to patient documentation and communication.
