Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments by evaluating patients’ psychological well-being and considering any underlying medical conditions that could affect their mental health.

• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical issues, tailoring strategies to suit individual patient needs.

• Provide engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster patient growth.

• Work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure that treatment plans are cohesive, aligning psychiatric and physical health interventions for optimal outcomes.

• Offer crisis intervention and support, equipping patients with strategies for managing mental health emergencies effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Eligant Axis, our primary focus is on individuals facing complex mental health challenges, particularly those with co-occurring medical conditions. We support a diverse patient demographic, including adults and adolescents, who may be dealing with conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood disorders in conjunction with chronic health issues. Our approach combines both psychological and physical health insights, allowing us to create a holistic treatment framework more effective for our patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• Strong understanding of and experience with treating mental health conditions in individuals with comorbid medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with patients.
