Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify specific therapeutic needs.

As a counselor at Healing Trails, your work will involve a diverse collection of patients experiencing various mental health concerns. You will provide support to individuals dealing with leisurely issues like anxiety and depression, as well as more acute challenges such as substance use disorders or emotional regulation difficulties. Understanding the unique cultural contexts of your clients is imperative, as it shapes the therapeutic process and ensures an inclusive approach to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• At least four years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health counseling.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in understanding various mental health disorders and psychiatric interventions.

• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities and a commitment to maintaining a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.
