Work Environment\n

Our telehealth work facility promotes a flexible and supportive environment where mental health professionals can thrive. The remote setup enables our therapists to achieve a healthy work-life balance while delivering high-quality care to patients. You will work weekdays from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological, emotional, and social needs, which serve as the foundation for developing customized treatment plans.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, to deliver effective therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups that address prevalent mental health concerns, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services and emotional support during mental health emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective responses to urgent patient needs.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment avenues, and available community resources to empower them in their journey towards recovery.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations, ensuring exceptional attention to ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.

• Stay informed about advances in mental health therapy, including emerging research and best practices, to continually provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population that includes individuals of varying backgrounds and ages experiencing mental health challenges. Our patients may be dealing with acute symptoms or chronic conditions, and you will be instrumental in guiding them towards improved emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in California.

• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment methodologies, and therapeutic practices.
\n
• Proven ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop actionable, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, fostering open dialogue with patients and co-workers alike.

• Commitment to ethical practices, demonstrating sound judgment in maintaining professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital documentation practices.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
