As a remote role based within a Hospice Center, you will have a flexible working environment that promotes work-life balance while delivering vital mental health services from the safety and comfort of your home. Our team is composed of dedicated therapists who support one another through regular teamwork, consultations, and peer support initiatives. This role requires occasional evening shifts to ensure that we meet our clients' needs around their schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health to inform individualized and clinically appropriate treatment plans, adhering to evidence-based methods.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing varied therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address a spectrum of mental health issues.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care strategy that supports clients’ recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention during acute situations, demonstrating compassion and effective communication while employing de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety.

• Engage in active community outreach and education to raise awareness of mental health issues, seeking to destigmatize mental illness and promote overall community wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse client base across various ages and backgrounds, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and end-of-life challenges. Your role as a therapist is essential in helping clients navigate their unique circumstances and deeply personal journeys toward recovery. You will bring cultural awareness and sensitivity to help effectively connect with clients from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
