Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one therapeutic sessions focused on solution-oriented strategies, addressing a variety of adolescent mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders.

• Facilitate skill-building sessions to empower adolescents in overcoming present and future challenges while promoting resilience and personal growth.

• Engage in ongoing treatment planning and provide crisis evaluations as part of a cohesive, multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

• Perform crisis intervention assessments and screenings to determine the most effective treatment paths for clients, ensuring their safety and health.

• Offer specialized treatment strategies for adolescents with severe mental illnesses, cognitive impairments, or developmental disabilities tailored to their unique situations.

• Develop and lead group counseling sessions on various mental health topics, fostering community and support among peers.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, to track patient outcomes effectively.

• Provide training and guidance to probation and detention staff, equipping them with skills and techniques for managing adolescents in their care.

• Coordinate discharge plans with community providers to ensure ongoing support and continuity of care after clients leave the clinic.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
