While primarily remote, you may occasionally attend in-person training sessions and team-building activities to enhance your professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, considering severity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide education and resources to clients and families, promoting understanding of mood disorders, available treatments, and actionable self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure continuous improvement in mental health outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain precise and secure documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in professional development activities, including case consultations and training sessions, to continuously enhance clinical skills.

• Actively advocate for clients, working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring their needs are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, encompassing a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, and treatment histories. This includes those encountering challenges with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your compassionate approach will play a critical role in establishing trust and facilitating effective therapeutic relationships that empower clients in their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist.

• Excellent communication skills necessary for building rapport with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly desirable.

• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology and a collaborative attitude towards integrated care with medical professionals.

• A demonstrated record of delivering successful treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
