Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments for new clients, documenting their mental health history and current concerns to develop a personalized treatment plan.

• Evaluate and monitor clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health continuously throughout their treatment journey, providing timely updates in electronic health record systems.

• Create and implement effective intervention plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing appropriate techniques to foster open communication and emotional expression.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care and intervention plans.

• Provide follow-up support for clients with hospitalizations, maintaining regular communication with attending physicians and psychiatric teams for optimal care.

• Educate and support families and caregivers in understanding mental health challenges, empowering them with tools to assist their loved ones.

• Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in psychotherapy to foster professional growth and improve client outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on working with diverse populations, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Washington State as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with knowledge of best practices and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, with a preference for experience using AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge regarding the effects of psychotropic medications prescribed in treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
