Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office located in Woodbridge, NJ, where you will be treating patients in a warm, welcoming atmosphere tailored to promote healing and recovery. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, enabling you to implement the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, with a standard work shift of 40 hours each week.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Lumturi Physical Therapy, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs based on referrals from physicians.
• Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and the physician's directives.
• Administering therapeutic interventions such as manual therapies, exercises, and modalities to improve patients' physical conditions.
• Providing education to patients and their caregivers, empowering them with knowledge about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and maintaining overall health.
• Documenting clinical outcomes, progress notes, and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and achieve minimum utilization goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with diverse patient populations, including but not limited to:

• Orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries or injuries.
• Pediatric patients requiring physical rehabilitation after injuries or congenital conditions.
• Neurologic patients dealing with conditions such as stroke or multiple sclerosis.
• Athletes seeking performance enhancement or rehabilitation from sports-related injuries.

By offering personalized care and targeted therapies, you will be instrumental in helping each patient reclaim their mobility and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• A current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with proficiency in computer systems for documentation.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in specialized areas such as sports medicine, pediatric therapy, or neurologic rehabilitation is highly desirable. A demonstrated ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with patients, facilitating their engagement and progress, will be an asset to our team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package that includes:
