Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand clients' life narratives and create individualized treatment plans that are responsive to their unique experiences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring that approaches are congruent with the clients' cultural contexts and personal histories.

• Provide a range of therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing and alleviating various mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies and guiding clients towards necessary resources.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment pathways, and local community resources that can further support their journey towards wellness.

• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation of client interactions and progress, adhering to all ethical and legal standards concerning privacy and patient care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated on current research, best practices, and emerging cultural considerations in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse patient population that reflects varied ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds. Our clients include individuals facing challenges associated with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your role will involve actively listening to and understanding the cultural factors that influence each client's mental health, allowing you to deliver treatment that is both respectful and effective.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive approaches that address the needs of diverse populations.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure and navigate challenging situations effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating strong rapport building with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems and other relevant software, aiding in the streamlined documentation and management of client care.

• A commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
