Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create comprehensive treatment and discharge plans informed by psychosocial assessments and accepted therapeutic methodologies.

• Establish and maintain productive relationships with community leaders and resource groups, representing MindShift in meetings and committees focused on addressing the social needs of our patients.

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to patients, employing assessments to identify emotional and behavioral challenges while designing suitable treatment strategies.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with physicians, keeping them informed about each patient's progress, needs, and potential issues that arise during treatments.

• Accurately document all clinical and progress notes following department protocols, ensuring timely and organized patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse population of individuals, ranging from children to adults, facing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of 3 years experience is required in an outpatient counseling setting.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential.

• A valid state license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is required to practice.
