Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic tests to identify cardiovascular conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists and the wider healthcare team, ensuring that each plan aligns with the resident's unique health needs.
• Monitor and manage chronic cardiovascular conditions, such as hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in patient education efforts, delivering insightful guidance on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and preventive measures crucial for maintaining heart health.
• Perform and interpret key diagnostic procedures such as EKGs and echocardiograms, integrating test results into treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
