Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop strong therapeutic relationships by establishing a trusting rapport with clients through open communication and empathy.

• Diagnose mental health disorders utilizing DSM-5 criteria, and conduct comprehensive evaluations to tailor individual treatment plans.

• Lead counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families using a variety of therapeutic approaches suited to patient needs.

• Regularly assess client progress and modify treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Coordinate care by referring clients to specialized services or additional resources when needed, fostering comprehensive support systems for their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the mental health field.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
