Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' histories and tailor effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being, adjusting as necessary based on progress and feedback.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage shared experiences and promote healing through community support.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care plans that address all aspects of a patient's mental health.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them during their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of sessions and treatment progress in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Holding a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is a prerequisite for the position.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
