Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to manage your schedule while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Normal business hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to address their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual cases.

• Provide education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment protocols, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, modifying plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case reviews, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to refine skills and stay updated on best practices.

• Advocate for clients, working towards reducing stigma associated with mental health issues and promoting their well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will engage with a diverse client base, providing tailored therapeutic interventions that take into account cultural and individual differences to optimize care outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in employing evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience treating clients with mood disorders and a proven track record of successful outcomes.

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health clinic or similar healthcare setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
