Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive medical histories, physical examinations, and relevant diagnostic tests that inform your treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement personalized evidence-based treatment plans, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare teammates to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide both primary and specialty care services, focusing on the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and behavioral health issues.
• Offer health education and counseling to students and their families about preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyle choices, and management of existing health conditions.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex patient cases, share insights, and coordinate care effectively to enhance student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, ensuring compliance with state regulations and school policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students ranging from preschool to high school age, addressing a wide array of health concerns that impact their academic performance and overall development. You will be instrumental in the management of chronic conditions and acute illnesses, as well as in promoting mental health awareness and intervention strategies within the school community.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Certification in a specialty area, such as Family Practice or Pediatric Nursing, is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and professional colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pediatric healthcare or within school-based health programs is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and school health regulations is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
