Join a well-established aerospace and defense manufacturer in Los Angeles as a Business Team Leader — a management-level role within a high-volume site operating complex government programs. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team including Program Management, Contract Administration, and Customer Service to deliver on program objectives and drive customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do Lead a cross-functional business team overseeing complex government contracts across assigned customers, product lines, and programs Establish and implement tactical and operational plans to achieve division objectives Serve as primary liaison for customer-to-company interface on program performance Advise site staff on program performance and contractual obligations Direct development of major proposals and contracts; participate in negotiations with significant sales and earnings impact Ensure contract and schedule commitments are met; provide primary program status reporting Apply knowledge of FAR/DFARS and agency/customer-specific regulatory requirements Lead process improvement initiatives; institutionalize best practices across the team Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Program Management, or related field 8+ years of progressive experience in aerospace/defense program management, contracts, or business operationsli> 4+ years of team and project leadership experience Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP Strong negotiation, financial planning, and organizational skills Experience with earned value, critical path analysis, and estimation methods Preferred Advanced degree or PMP certification Why Join?
