Work Environment

The position is on-site at our specialized outpatient rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is designed to foster patient-centered care, equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic equipment to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Your schedule will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Provide one-on-one patient sessions, ensuring focused attention and care tailored to individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, improve function, and enhance mobility.
• Design and oversee customized exercise programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical wellness.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment strategies, and wellness practices to foster a proactive approach to their health.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to provide coordinated care for patients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes using EMR systems such as Web PT.
• Participate in continuous professional development, staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse patient demographic, with a focus on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with both youth and adult populations, fostering recovery through targeted interventions that respect each patient's specific challenges and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic outpatient care, with experience in implementing effective treatment modalities.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Proficient with using electronic medical records, specifically Web PT, to ensure precise documentation.
• A commitment to evidence-based practice and a thorough understanding of current physical therapy methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a busy outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing patient-centered therapeutic programs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
