Work Environment

You will be joining an onsite, outpatient facility located in the vibrant town of West Orange, New Jersey. This role is primarily Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured schedule that allows our therapists to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources that facilitate effective treatment delivery and patient engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, understanding their individual goals and needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Administer cost-effective, evidence-based treatments aimed at helping patients regain strength and function.
• Educate patients on self-management techniques, lifestyle adjustments, and preventive measures to reduce the risk of future injuries.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and feedback.
• Engage in active communication with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure cohesive patient management.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting all interactions in compliance with best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff and interns, promoting a culture of learning and excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Patients range from young athletes to older adults requiring rehabilitation for age-related conditions. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state license to practice physical therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated integrity, maintaining a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific populations such as post-operative orthopedic patients, athletes, and geriatric patients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and patient care.
• Knowledge of current orthopedic best practices and rehabilitation protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, supplemented with performance-based bonuses.
