Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and social needs of clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances.

• Provide individualized psychotherapy services to clients, primarily focusing on stable, low-acuity adults within the hospice care framework.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing solution-focused therapy approaches, with an emphasis on meeting each client’s unique needs and goals.

• Monitor clients’ progress through the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes and adapt to evolving needs.

• Empower clients by teaching coping skills and strategies that support their mental health journey, enabling them to manage symptoms and emotional distress effectively.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Document all clinical interactions and maintain accurate, organized client records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

This position primarily serves adults in hospice care, who may be experiencing significant transitions due to chronic illness or terminal conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is mandatory.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure in the state of Texas, with acceptable licenses including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or PsyD. Please note that limited or provisional licenses will not be considered.

• Ability to demonstrate strong clinical and diagnostic skills in a remote setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with a sympathetic and empathetic nature that can foster trusting relationships with clients.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage caseload and client schedules.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

• Must be comfortable working independently from home and be proactive in seeking out resources as needed.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in clinical social work, preferably in a hospice or palliative care setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
