Working remotely from the comfort of your home, you will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes mental health and well-being. Our hours are primarily Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that allow for thorough understanding and evaluation of each patient's unique trauma history.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, integrating both evidence-based practices and holistic approaches.

• Employ therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing and coping strategies in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies for effective treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, helping to stabilize and guide patients toward safety.

• Facilitate educational sessions to empower patients and their families by providing them with essential knowledge about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of therapy sessions to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education sessions to ensure the team stays informed about current best practices in trauma therapy.

You will be providing care primarily for patients grappling with trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and often present with unique challenges, requiring tailored intervention strategies. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
