Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of adults, ensuring an empathetic and professional approach.

• Perform thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that guide clients toward achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Teach coping skills and social strategies, focusing on anger management and minimizing risk behaviors such as self-injury and aggression.

• Empower clients and their families by enhancing decision-making skills to effectively navigate in-home behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engaging with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain compliance with all documentation standards, such as treatment plans, daily progress notes, and assessment reports, ensuring timely submission within designated timelines.

• Participate in monthly team meetings and provide required weekly progress updates to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field, holding an active LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT license.

• Experience in crisis intervention training or a willingness to complete necessary training to effectively handle critical incidents.

• Post-internship field experience working with adult clients, demonstrating an ability to handle various psychological issues.

• Proficiency in creating treatment plans, setting therapeutic goals, and conducting initial assessments that guide ongoing therapy.

• Familiarity with various counseling methodologies, including CBT, REBT, Gestalt therapy, DBT, and Trauma-Informed approaches.

• Expertise in using the DSM-V for accurate assessments and diagnoses.

• Experience in providing positive behavioral support tailored to the clients' specific backgrounds and environments.

• Submission of a resume accompanied by verification of a master’s degree and a valid state license is required for consideration.

Preferred Experience\n
