Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, enabling the formulation of personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address trauma symptoms.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to provide patients with the tools they need to process trauma and develop essential coping strategies.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated, holistic approach to patient care.

• Be prepared to deliver crisis intervention and emergency support during trauma-related crises, providing immediate care as necessary.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid professional licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
