This role is based in our onsite rehabilitation facility in Chula Vista, where you will work closely with both patients and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations, identifying the specific needs and conditions of each patient to develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and neuromuscular re-education to facilitate recovery.
• Provide detailed education to patients and their families regarding injury prevention, ergonomics, and effective self-management strategies that promote long-term wellness.
• Monitor and track patient progress closely, making real-time adjustments to treatment plans when necessary, while ensuring comprehensive documentation using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care and provide a seamless patient experience.
• Engage actively in professional development through team meetings and case discussions, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Offer mentorship and support to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and interns, fostering their skills and confidence in clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients requiring rehabilitation, and individuals managing chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse range of cases, which may involve tailoring treatment strategies to accommodate different age groups and activity levels. Your contributions will directly enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction as they navigate their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience managing sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain cases is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in formulating and implementing evidence-based therapeutic intervention plans that yield positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
