Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, understanding their unique challenges and circumstances.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group formats, equipping clients with coping strategies and resources to promote healing and resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors serve a diverse client population, addressing a wide array of mental health issues. You will work with individuals coping with substance use disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, stress, and life transitions. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their life goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience within a clinical or community health setting.

• A profound understanding of diverse mental health disorders and familiarity with culturally responsive counseling practices.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to effectively manage high-stress situations conducive to a therapeutic environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
