Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring you have a consistent schedule to maintain a fulfilling work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to accurately identify the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms such as depression and anxiety.

• Collaborate one-on-one with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and situations.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients on their path to recovery.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their healing journey.

• Consistently evaluate clients' progress throughout their treatment, making necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Build collaborative relationships with psychiatrists and external health professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans that address all aspects of the client’s mental health.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders, integrating contemporary findings into your therapeutic approach.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client sessions and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster collaborative learning and skill enhancement within the clinical team.

• Be an advocate for destigmatizing mood disorders, extending support to clients and promoting mental health awareness within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. As a counselor, you will engage with a diverse group of clients, varying in age and backgrounds, offering tailored support that addresses their unique emotional and psychological needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Valid in-state licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or Psychologist.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies, including CBT and DBT.
\n
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with medical professionals effectively.

• Demonstrated success in managing and treating mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
