Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique traumatic experiences and openly discuss their treatment goals.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on recovery from trauma, ensuring they are dynamic and adaptable to clients’ evolving needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing during individual and group sessions.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy, guiding clients through their unique healing processes while providing coping strategies and emotional support.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care that maximizes client outcomes.

• Respond swiftly to trauma-related emergencies, offering crisis intervention and support while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making about their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily consist of individuals grappling with the psychological distress associated with trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By employing trauma-informed practices, you will help clients process their experiences and craft pathways towards healing and resilience in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in Arizona.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, providing you with a solid foundation in trauma-focused therapy.

• A profound understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies is essential.

• Proven experience implementing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions with demonstrated effectiveness is highly valued.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, are necessary for building trust with clients.

• Aptitude for maintaining composure in high-stress situations while providing effective care.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications for documentation and reporting purposes.

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team enhances the overall patient care experience.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience is essential, candidates with more extensive experience in delivering trauma-informed therapies are encouraged to apply. Additional certifications in specific trauma therapies will be considered a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
