Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, providing home care services to our patients. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages open communication and teamwork. We emphasize the importance of personalized care, using a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches to cater to each patient's unique needs. Your contributions as a physical therapist will play a pivotal role in patient recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to accurately identify patients' physical needs and treatment goals.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that include a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation strategies to facilitate optimal recovery and restore functioning.
• Educate patients and their families about their treatment plans, fostering engagement and participation in the recovery process.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve positive health outcomes for patients.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress notes and treatment interventions according to state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at LifeMotion, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adults, and the elderly, who are facing various orthopedic challenges. Each day, you will engage with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions, guiding them towards regaining strength and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current Virginia state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience is preferable; however, new graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow in their practice are welcomed!
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• A proactive attitude and a collaborative spirit, thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home care or community-based settings is advantageous, as it enables the therapist to deliver care effectively within the patient's living environment. A background in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable, equipping you with the skills needed to address a variety of musculoskeletal issues.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 – $100,000 per year, reflective of your experience and expertise. Additionally, our benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401k plan featuring employer matching to help secure your financial future.
