Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing a telehealth framework that allows our therapists to provide care from the comfort and convenience of their own workspace. Our digital platform is designed to facilitate smooth communication and interaction with clients, enabling clinicians to maintain a flexible schedule that meets patient needs. Therapists are expected to provide services from Monday to Friday, during established hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth technology, focusing on the specific needs of each client.

• Perform comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments to understand client backgrounds and challenges, informing treatment plans.
\n
• Implement therapeutic skills that support coping and social skills development, including anger management strategies aimed at reducing self-injurious behaviors and physical aggression.
\n
• Assist clients and their caregivers in enhancing decision-making capabilities related to in-home behavioral challenges.
\n
• Collaborate consistently with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic support for clients and their families.
\n
• Ensure timely submission of all required documentation, such as treatment plans, DAP notes, and intake forms, in accordance with organizational protocols.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings and complete mandatory weekly reporting to stay aligned with organizational goals and client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on serving adults who present a variety of mental health challenges. Each therapist will be tasked with managing cases that address conditions like anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral issues. Therapists will engage with a diverse client base, which requires cultural competency and an openness to addressing the unique needs that our clients bring to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field, alongside appropriate licensure (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT).

• Completion of Clinical Mental Health Training is mandatory.

• Willingness to undergo Crisis Intervention Training if not previously obtained.
\n
• Post-internship clinical experience with adult populations is essential.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in formulating treatment plans, establishing treatment goals, and conducting initial assessments.
\n
• Familiarity with multiple counseling methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma response strategies.

• Ability to utilize the DSM-V for accurate assessments and diagnoses.
