Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Deep Care Physical Therapy, you will work directly within our home care setting, providing therapy in the comfort of our patients' residences. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients as referred by physicians, taking detailed medical histories and assessing functional abilities to determine individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to maximize patient outcomes and facilitate functional improvements in patient health.
• Enhance patient engagement by educating them and their caregivers on recovery processes, self-management strategies, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Uphold high standards of customer service, nurturing strong relationships with each patient to support their journey towards exceeding functional goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include working with a diverse array of patients, from orthopedic cases requiring post-operative care to pediatric patients needing developmental support. You will also support individuals recovering from neurologic conditions and offering sports medicine rehabilitation, allowing you to expand your expertise across various specialties.

Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid Physical Therapy License in the state of Florida.
• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
• A genuine commitment to developing therapeutic relationships that empower patients in reaching their functional objectives.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist is required, candidates with additional specialties or certifications in pediatric, orthopedic, or sports medicine physical therapy will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
