Key Responsibilities\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans, tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and aspirations.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective interventions.

• Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding treatment options and self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to ensure the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other medical providers, ensuring comprehensive treatment planning and execution.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health care, specifically mood disorders, to continuously enhance your treatment approaches.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous education initiatives to refine your clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients by promoting understanding and reducing stigma surrounding mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will impact a diverse client base at various stages of their mental health journeys. You'll specifically focus on individuals dealing with mood disorders, employing an empathetic and strengths-based approach to support them through their challenges. You will be instrumental in helping clients acquire coping skills, achieve personal goals, and foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• Strong communication skills that enhance rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• An understanding of psychopharmacology, allowing for effective collaboration with psychiatric professionals.

• A commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experience would be beneficial:

Compensation and Benefits\n
