Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and continuously evaluate treatment needs to develop personalized and effective treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Provide individual therapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique situation, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.

• Establish measurable therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, ensuring that they are actively involved in their treatment process and regularly evaluate progress towards these goals.

• Facilitate teletherapy sessions, accommodating clients' schedules and making mental health care more accessible for those with mobility challenges or other barriers to in-person therapy.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately and in compliance with ethical guidelines and documentation standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, webinars, and peer supervision to enhance therapeutic skills and contribute to a collaborative learning environment.

Our client population includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As part of our team, you will work with diverse populations and tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and psychological needs of each client. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license to practice in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and the ability to connect with clients in a virtual setting.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage cases and maintain documentation.

• A non-judgmental and compassionate attitude, promoting a safe space for clients to share their experiences.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sunshine Counseling Center offers competitive compensation ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
