Work Environment\n

The successful candidate will work remotely in a telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while supporting our clients through virtual counseling sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate individualized clinical treatment programs for clients diagnosed with acute or chronic mental health conditions.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish client needs, identify treatment goals, and formulate effective strategies for reaching them.

• Deliver outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, using evidence-based modalities.
\n
• Prepare and maintain thorough documentation including intake summaries, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to review treatment effectiveness and enhance client care through ongoing case consultations and staff conferences.

• Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on assisting older adults, addressing specific mental health challenges that may arise during this stage of life. By fostering a deep understanding of unique needs and experiences of senior clients, you will provide tailored support and resources that empower them to cope effectively. Your empathetic approach will enable clients to discuss sensitive issues, fostering trust and openness in the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is required; candidates with associate licenses are not eligible due to billing limitations under Medicare.

• Strong self-direction and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment.

• Proficient in using technology and digital platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite and telehealth software, to facilitate client interactions.

• A capacity to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high standard of care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior clinical experience with geriatric populations is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with clinical documentation requirements as per NCQA and state regulations.

• Experience providing telehealth counseling is highly valued.
