As a remote member of our hospice center team in El Paso, Texas, you will collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals, including case managers, nurses, and psychiatrists, to create a supportive and cohesive care experience for patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to pinpoint clients' mental health needs, formulating individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices.

• Administer a variety of evidence-based therapy services, whether in individual, family, or group settings, tailored to the unique challenges of terminally ill patients and their families.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, employing compassionate techniques to alleviate anxiety and fear.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing end-of-life issues, their families, and caregivers. Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology , at the master’s or doctoral level.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively engage with diverse populations.
\n
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable and will enhance your ability to empathize with clients.
