Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite, with a schedule that provides a balanced work-life experience. You will work Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on patient-centered care in a dynamic outpatient office setting. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and tools that facilitate advanced treatment methods, ensuring efficiency in patient care while also allowing for personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs by conducting in-depth evaluations and establishing specific treatment objectives based on individual requirements.
• Maintain a productive schedule with a caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and specialized care for each individual.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient practices to administer therapies that effectively enhance mobility and overall functionality.
• Work collaboratively to minimize reliance on medications by proposing and implementing non-surgical treatment alternatives.
• Develop comprehensive, patient-specific treatment plans by integrating diverse therapeutic techniques, ensuring approaches are evidence-based.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to patients' specific conditions and goals to support long-term health improvements.
• Deliver individualized care through effective communication, fostering positive relationships that motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatments.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT.
• Engage in continuous collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle changes to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient demographic requiring outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. These patients may include post-operative individuals, athletes recovering from injuries, and those with chronic pain issues. The goal is to tailor treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, ensuring the best clinical outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required to qualify for this role.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise programs for various patient needs.
• Skilled in using EMR software, notably WebPT, to manage patient records accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement diverse therapy methodologies that yield measurable patient progress.
• Experience in devising educational content for patients to assist in self-management of their conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
