Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Sanford, Florida. As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will enjoy a collaborative environment where interdisciplinary communication is encouraged. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility in patients with a variety of conditions.
• Conduct thorough evaluations using diagnostic and prognostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint function, establishing baseline measurements for improvement.
• Direct and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to the individualized care protocols, providing guidance during treatment modalities.
• Monitor patient progress by evaluating changes in their condition, documenting responses to therapy in timely clinical records, and communicating effectively with physicians and case managers.
• Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, traction, and the use of physical agents aligned with the established plan of care.
• Provide recommendations for home modifications that facilitate patient independence and safety during rehabilitation efforts.
• Play a key role in interdisciplinary care team meetings, contributing clinical insights that shape treatment strategies and improve care delivery outcomes.
• Instruct patients and their families on the utilization and maintenance of therapy equipment as well as comprehensive self-management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to regulatory and agency standards.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current on emerging therapy practices and innovations within the field.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
