Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, identifying the severity, frequency, and duration of issues to tailor effective treatment plans.

• Develop individualized treatment strategies in collaboration with clients, incorporating their preferences and addressing specific goals for their mental health journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment options, bolstering their understanding and involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to maximize efficacy and ensure alignment with patient goals.

• Work closely alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, well-rounded care focused on each client's unique needs.

• Stay informed on the latest research, trends, and best practices in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practice techniques such as CBT and DBT for mood disorders.
