Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans based on clients’ needs and goals.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions, using techniques tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, including evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring an inclusive environment where clients can express themselves and make progress toward their goals.

• Regularly evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and documenting changes and outcomes in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to offer a holistic approach to treatment when a higher level of care is identified.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and training to stay abreast of current mental health practices and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Eden Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, substance use disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. A culturally competent approach is fundamental to your practice, ensuring that all clients feel respected and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in the mental health sector.
\n
• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver culturally responsive therapy that meets the unique needs of a diverse client population.

Compensation and Benefits\n
