Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intakes to evaluate clients' mental health needs and concerns.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions (individual and group) using evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s cultural background and therapeutic needs.

• Monitor progress and adapt strategies as necessary to ensure clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Provide crisis intervention and support in challenging situations, employing strong de-escalation and coping techniques.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and support staff, to deliver holistic care to clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Clear Pathway Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse array of clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders. Your role will involve creating a safe and open therapeutic space that respects each client’s unique experiences, cultural backgrounds, and personal narratives. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, along with cultural competence in providing therapy.

• Proven experience in conducting individual and group therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
