Work Environment\n

This role operates in a remote setting, providing flexibility while being part of an esteemed outpatient office that prioritizes client care. Working with both clients and a team of other mental health professionals allows for a rich, collaborative experience aimed at ensuring comprehensive mental wellness. The typical work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring that each assessment is comprehensive and tailored to the individual’s experiences.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and circumstances, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them with the knowledge needed for effective management of their mental health.

• Monitor and document client progress consistently, making timely adjustments to treatment plans that reflect changes in symptoms or goals.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that a multidisciplinary approach is taken, encompassing all aspects of a client’s treatment.

• Stay abreast of industry developments and advancements in mood disorder therapies, thereby ensuring the application of up-to-date treatment techniques.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with ethical and legal requirements.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, gain support, and enhance your clinical practice.

• Advocate for the destigmatization of mental health issues within the community and work towards meeting the broader mental health needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing various mood-related challenges, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your expertise will play a critical role in guiding these individuals towards recovery by helping them develop coping mechanisms and healthier thought patterns, which are essential to their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly focusing on mood disorders.

• Proven expertise with evidence-based therapeutic interventions, especially CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and willingness to collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with a diverse population of clients and possess exceptional communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year based on experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome new hires.
