Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use challenges, ensuring a clear understanding of co-occurring disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, tackling stigma and fostering treatment adherence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population you will serve includes individuals dealing with both mental health conditions and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proven proficiency in evidence-based therapies relevant to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong comprehension of the dynamics between mental health and substance use disorders, particularly as they manifest in diverse populations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit, with the ability to foster productive relationships within a multidisciplinary team.

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000.
