Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with clients through individual video consultations, focusing on their mental health improvement. Your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting personalized counseling sessions via secure video chat to address mental health concerns.

• Encouraging open discussions about emotions, thoughts, and experiences to foster personal insights.

• Serving as a client advocate, helping them to articulate their needs and set achievable goals.

• Assessing clients' mental health status and collaborating with them to create and implement solution-focused treatment plans based on your professional expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily consist of stable adults who have been carefully screened to ensure they are appropriate for your services, eliminating the pressure of managing severe mental health cases. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Full licensure in good standing with the state board as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW, allowing for independent practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards clients.

• Proficient with technology used in remote therapy platforms and willing to adapt to new systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

New U Mental and Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 annually, based on experience.
