Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct ongoing assessments to understand client needs, strengths, and treatment goals, ensuring that each client's unique situation is adequately addressed.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders regarding clients’ progress and treatment plans.
\n
• Develop and provide a tentative schedule of client appointments, home visits, and monitoring activities to facilitate productive therapeutic relationships.
\n
• Coordinate and conduct home visits, including in-home observations, chart reviews, and interviews when necessary to gain deeper insights into clients’ environments.
\n
• Effectively implement individualized treatment plans ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care strategies and share relevant information about treatment outcomes.
\n
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes in compliance with our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
\n
• Organize and conduct training sessions to ensure that team members are well-versed in therapeutic methodologies and program documentation.
\n
• Facilitate follow-up interviews and continued support through home visits and observations to ensure that client needs are being met post-treatment.
\n
• Act as a spokesperson and liaison with the public and mental health community to foster awareness and support our development goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Mental Thrive, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and youth facing a variety of mental health challenges. This could range from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in delivering tailored therapeutic interventions that empower clients to make positive changes in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating your proficiency in therapeutic techniques and client management.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical practice standards in mental health counseling.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of clients.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Proficiency in using EMR software and related technologies is necessary for efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.

• Experience conducting therapeutic groups or workshops is a plus.
