Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of individuals and families in the hospice setting.

• Crafting tailored treatment plans utilizing best practices and evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Providing compassionate psychotherapy to patients with diverse mental health concerns, ensuring alignment with their personal treatment goals.

• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, and care coordinators, to optimize care for each patient.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, enhancing treatment outcomes through continuous professional development.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues and available community resources to promote better informed treatment choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges within the hospice context. Patients may experience anxiety, depression, grief, and other emotional responses as they navigate significant life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally focused on psychotherapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
