Work Environment\n

This position will be primarily remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients. You will have the flexibility to provide services from the comfort of your own office or home while still being part of an established team that encourages collaboration and support. Our facility operates through telehealth, making mental health support accessible anytime during our operational hours, which are from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma backgrounds and determine effective treatment plans.

• Develop personalized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and long-term mental health maintenance.
\n
• Provide therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to aid clients in processing traumatic experiences and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated care approaches for all clients.
\n
• Implement crisis intervention techniques to support clients during trauma-related emergencies or acute distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all patient documentation is up to date.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continued professional development focusing on trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest research and evidence-based approaches in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients facing various forms of trauma, including but not limited to, emotional, physical, and mental health challenges. Our clientele includes diverse individuals from different backgrounds seeking support to overcome their past experiences and build resilient futures. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technological tools used for telehealth.

• Capability to efficiently manage time and maintain a comprehensive caseload in alignment with established standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure counseling experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• Previous experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated patient care.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure in high-stress scenarios.

• Experience with couples therapy is a plus; training will be provided as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000 per year, with annual increases and bonus opportunities based on performance. Additionally, our compensation package includes:
