Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential duties, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to identify their unique needs.

• Implementing graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions tailored to each client's situation, enriching their therapeutic experience.

• Documenting assessments, treatment plans, and multidisciplinary care plans meticulously, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes.

• Participating in staff meetings and patient rounds to communicate effectively with other team members about patient progress and interdisciplinary care strategies.

• Providing supportive case management that involves collaboration with hospital staff and community professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for assigned patients.

• Completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner in line with departmental standards.

• Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities to support patients in developing and achieving their individualized service plans.

This role serves a diverse client population, including individuals grappling with a wide range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid state license in one of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating effective therapeutic skills and patient management.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
